Apply the highlighter with any synthetic brush, slightly going beyond the lip contour, and blend. Define the lips with a nude lip liner or a shade close to the lipstick color. Blend the liner, then apply the lipstick to the center of the lips and blend outward. For fuller coverage, apply the lipstick in 2–3 layers. Correct any small imperfections with concealer if needed. To increase longevity, apply the lipstick and blot with a tissue. Repeat 2–3 times — the tissue removes excess oil and improves wear. For a plumper look, apply a matching or clear lip gloss to the center of the lips over the lipstick.
