Fragrance

The composition consists almost entirely of an assemblage of various modern musk essential oils, enriched with orange blossom oil, neroli oil, and oils of lemon and bergamot. True to Dominique’s signature style, the essential oils used in generous proportions are balanced by microdoses of the most unexpected ingredients. Thus, the fragrance’s unusual freshness is achieved through the inclusion of a microdose of rare narcissus absolute. Shortly after beginning to wear the scent, one cannot help but perceive the dual nature of modern musk oils: on the one hand, they inevitably evoke associations with cleanliness, as they are traditionally used in soaps, detergents, and skincare products; on the other hand, musk oils stimulate sensual attraction, as their composition closely resembles pheromones. The fragrance possesses a magnetic allure — a kind of double agent of rival intelligence services, capable of seducing with innocence, much like Nabokov’s Lolita. A paradoxical blend of citrus freshness with a longevity and diffusion rarely attainable in an eau de toilette.
